My Biggest Fan.

We purchased this fan to reduce the time we run the air conditioning in our home, we have been very happy with the performance and quality of the fan. The Galaxy has wide circular base minimizing any chances of it turning over in use. The Oscillating action sweeps a very wide area and can be started or stopped at any time by the push or pull of a button. The Galaxy is extremely quiet no squeaks or pops like usually associated with this type of unit. The blade guard is very tight knit pattern, disabling even the tiniest of fingers from gaining entry. The Galaxy moves a great deal of air for its size. Nice product for the price, the quietness being my favorite quality of this product. I highly recommend the Galaxy 16 Inch Oscillating Fan as great product and a great price.
I am in need of a fan for my bedroom in my new apartment as my room is the last room that the air hits so it's often very hot in there at times. I think this would be great and I won't feel like I have to turn the air down so low. I also love oscillating fans, they are great! :o)
We get direct sunlight in the front of our home where our office is and it gets very hot, even with highly energy efficient windows. A good quiet fan such as this one seems to be would be a big help in creating some cooling without having to turn on the AC.

I don't know how we'd survive in SW Florida with fans during the summer.
