Reviewing: Thomas And Friends Day Out With Thomas
Purchased at: Ticket Web     Price: $16.00 USD

My son is almost two years old but he loves Thomas to death. He knows the names of most of the popular trains, moreso than I do! We were excited when we found out that "Day Out With Thomas" was coming to the Conway Scenic Railroad in North Conway, New Hampshire.

We purchased out tickets online, and they had multiple dates. We went this past Saturday. We got to the site nice and early and Thomas was parked right there for everyone to look at. Our boarding pass was for 10:45am, and we were there at around 9:30am.

You get to ride Thomas for approximately 25 minutes, and what a great view of the White Mountains! The area is set up for children. They had a hay maze, a imagination station, the fire department was open so the kids could look at the firetrucks. They also had 5 different stationary trains that kids could look at. You even got to climb up in one. They had a Sir Topham Hatt greeting area.

There was a area for storytelling, temporary tattoos and a video area to watch some Thomas.

There were a couple of food vendors so you could get a quick bite to eat as well. A huge merchandise tent with everything you could imagine for Thomas.

Secretely I think my wife and I were more excited than my son, and we plan to go back again next year if Thomas comes around!

Oh, my! This is a traveling "exhibit?" They take Thomas all over to various locations for rides? I have to find out the schedule.

We did this too a few years ago in Chattanooga, TN. When my son saw Thomas and theother trains it was like he was looking at rock stars. It made it all come to life although Sir Topem Hat was kind of creepy.

my son did this when he was around 3 yrs old. He loved it. I thought it was nice for the young Thomas fans

How cool! Both of my nephews loved Thomas and his friends when they were little and I know they would have really enjoyed a day with Thomas.

That looks like it would be a fun day out. I think my husband and I would go anyway just to watch the other kids.
