My December is the third CD from singer Kelly Clarkson, who is best known as the winner of the first season of the TV reality series American Idol. If you're familiar with her first two CDs, you'll find that My December has quite a different sound to it.

While song of the songs may not be quite as catchy as on her previous albums, I still think that Kelly does a terrific job here and it's nice to hear her do something different. Her first single from this CD, "Never Again", is a bitter rock song that is one of her best.

Another one of my favorites is a song called "Sober", which is a slow, haunting song that not only displays Kelly's impressive vocals but also shows off her raw emotion that she can bring to a song. She is definitely at her best here.

I think that Kelly put together an ambitious album with My December and pulls it off with flying colors. Any fans of hers who pick up this CD are in for a treat.
