My experience with credit cards
By Chris Kong onI was skeptical about credit cards before I owned one, but after owning Ambank credit card , now I literally cannot live without credit card .
Cons: Free membership for life , Credit limit up to RM 7000. Offer online banking which enable us to check our account from 6am to 12 midnight online. the time stated is for security reasons. The personnel do double check with customers when it involves transaction of RM 500 and above when we do online air ticketing or shopping. Good customer support 24 hours a day , 7 days a week. Every birthday they will give good birthday gifts like Osim digital thermometer.
Pros: They use to give very good cash back rewards . With20 000 points accumulated ( RM 1 spent = 1 point ) they give us back RM 200. But now they have revised to 30 000 points for RM 150!!
Doesn't it figure that they would increase the number of points to get the rewards back?!
We are trying hard not to use any credit cards right now but if we decide to jump back on the credit wagon we'll consider this one.
Chandrashekhar - I have very bad experience on using ICICI bank Visa card. So not in the favour of using credit cards.
