Reviewing: Globalfantasies.Com Cartagena, Columbia
Purchased at: Gobalfantasies.Com     Price: $5,000.00 USD

The review is a neutral recommendation of Globalfantasies.com at this time.In time (how long I'm not sure) hopefully I'll post again with some sort of recommendation (hopefully good). The review is a for your information only.I made a deposit with Globalfantasies.com in the summer of 2008 to take an all inclusive vacation sometime in the future.Between now and then I logged many phone hours with Mike Smith who is the president of this site.Talking to him he appears to be a man of his word.In December of 2009 I decided to cash in on the deposit and take a week vacation at Cartagena, Columbia. What happened next was unanticipated.Coincidently his girl friend happened to enter the United States without a VISA and Immigration held her.Mike then informed me that he cannot accommodate the vacation request because all of his time needs to be devoted to her.So far I'm still able to keep in touch with him either by email or phone so I'm aware of the progress he is making in getting her out.At this time I don't have any reason to not trust him, however my problem is how much time should I give him.

A quick follow up as to what is happening with Globalfantasies. First of all I have come to admit my mistake in depositing over 8000 for a week vacation. The reason why it has been over two years before is either work commitments or something wasn't right with the vacation package. Belize had questionable accommodations and the girls weren't my type. Margarita is part of Venezuela which is having internal problems. The Europe and Thailand packages were too short (one would think that 8000+ deposit is good for a week anywhere, give me a break). Buenos Aires wasn't all inclusive when I would inquire about it. Being an owner of Globalfantasies like Mike Smith, his argument is I'm blaming my indecisiveness on him and he has a valid point. Hopefully we can come to some sort of agreement where the deposit will profitable to both of us but I kind of doubt it.

Another follow up. Deposit is lost. Globalfantasies is one of the best con artist in the business. I made a $10,000 deposit with them in some bank in Australia over two years ago for a vacation I never took. What they have done is twisted it all around and make it sound that my indecisiveness is their right to keep the deposit. That is flat out wrong. Whether it 2 years or 10 years, a deposit is a deposit and a legitimate business honors it. I've made smaller deposits for fishing packages over ten years ago and still get email from them letting me know the deposit is good. This is a quote from Globalfantasies: 'Try booking any hotel or travel package and see if your payment/deposit is still valued or good after 2 full years? It's not...and I no longer want to be responsible for your 2+ year delay and/or indecisiveness.'. $10,000 can still go a long way for a memorable vacation and if I want to take my time in deciding where to go, that is my business.

Mike Smith's comeback is asking his potential customers if they want email between him and me to request. That's fair, but to potential customers be sure to ask him he could send the email with the flight itinerary. If I had of committed to a vacation, I would of had to send this to Globalfantasies.com for someone to meet me at the airport (that is the normal procedure). Anyway it turns out I've joined the list of "I've been conned" (never thought it would happen to me), of course I assumed this when I first posted tthis. Hopefully if someone is considering a vacation like this, they will be aware of the experience I had and learn from it.
