Being an amateur photographer i keep trying my hands on various different cameras and i liked this product from Sony. Whenever it comes to optics Sony always delivers the best.

The features include brilliant color and resolution, two inch LCD for a good view of pictures, small in size(4.5*2.7*2.7 inches) though a little heavy (370 gms.), 10 seconds self timer, both manual and auto focus options to focus better on images depending on their distance, 39 mm zoom wide and 17 mm zoom tele for better picture capture, superior rechargeable batteries, sharp and clear pictures in both light and dark conditions(there is a low light feature for pictures in dark),2x digital zoom and many more. Comes with a 4 mb memory stick but believe me you are going to get a bigger one as you would love taking pictures with this. A few short comes like lacking a physical viewfinder

Though bit costly but you will be getting value for the money you invested. This camera can be used both by the new ones and at the sub professional level.
