My Faithful Hairdryer, Rest in Peace

Reviewing: Conair Cord Keeper 1600
Purchased at: Walmart     Price: $30.00 CAD

It might seem a little odd to be writing about a product that doesn't work anymore, but this hair dryer lived a good long life, and always lived up to my expectations.

The Conair Cord-Keeper 1600 was great for traveling. The cord retracted into the handle, keeping it from getting tangled up, and the entire handle folded over, cutting the size of the dryer in half.It also had dual voltage, so it could come with me to various countries without needing a special adapter. It had two heat settings, and a "cool shot" button.

I've been sitting here trying to recall how long I've owned this hair dryer...It must be at least seven years.I've had it since I was in high school, and it just "died" on me this week.At that time, the cord was still retracting properly, and it was no worse for wear from constantly being snapped in half and stored. The only thing wrong with it was it stopped blowing hot air--it was just blowing cold. Since it has long out-lived its warrenty, I thought it was best to just let it go.

I would definitely buy this hair dryer again. In fact, I intend to next time I go shopping!

Glad you found a hair dryer that you like so much. Those are hard to come by. Good luck on the next one. I hope that it last just as long for you.
