As I am the kitchen cranking out holiday treats, I am reminded how much I love, love, LOVE my Kitchen Aid mixer! I own the stand size mixer, and have it for over 8 years. It is not a cheap item, but it will outlast all others! I decorate cakes as a hobby and I could never do the amount of icing I need for my cakes without this machine. It is truly a lifesaver! It will mix things a hand mixer could never even move.

I own the white machine, but it is available in other, fun colors, to match most decors! I almost wish mine would need to be replaced because there were not this many colors when I got mine! It has a sturdy, weighted base that will hold it in place on your counter. The bowl is stainless steel and comes off and locks back on the base. It came with three attachments> the basic mixer, the whisk, the dough hook. All the detachable pieces are dishwasher friendly. You can buy extra bowls and various other attachments.

This is a fabulous item! I will run to the closest store when it is time to replace this for my next one. My only choice would be what new color! I would never consider a different mixer!
