My Jewelry, My Design, My Hands Made These By edev5 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
When I got back to my hometown, I happened to join a jewelry-making course. I joined it with a friend of mine, thinking that it will be a lot cheaper taking a class of two students compared to joining privately. The first lesson is making the brooch. There are two brooches that we should make. These brooches are made of imitative gems, and some clear acrylic gems. We need to choose color before starting, and I pick the dark golden brown for the imitative stones and purple for the acrylic gems. The second lesson is making a hair decoration, and this requires more skills. To make this we need various gem stones, and wires. As for the bonus, we are given lessons for making chain necklace and earrings, and also string necklace, bracelet and earrings. I love the string jewelries the best because it's easier to make and also, they are the loveliest, with the pearls decorations. I love wearing them to parties… :)
I have included the pictures of my own jewelry making, and when I got back to my husband, he says that maybe I have the chance to sell my products. Guess he's right. For now some neighbors have ordered my jewelries, and I'm going my best to make them. Even my mother-in-law wants me to make her a pearl stylish necklace. I'm still a newcomer, but will keep on trying and learning. Thanks everyone.
PS: Sorry if the pictures are not of good quality.
