My Journey of Love

My husband bought me this necklace for Christmas 2006. We had been married for a little over a year at the time. He said that he wanted to get me something that would symbolize our lives together and how our love would grow over time.
The Journey pendant is a set of seven diamonds that grow from smallest to largest in a winding pattern. It comes in sizes from 1/10 of a carat to 1 1/2 carats. The one I have now is 1 carat. It comes in14 carat yellow or white gold. My husband bought me the white gold to match my wedding ring set and because it is my favorite.
This necklace is absolutely beautiful. The stones sparkle wonderfully and I am always getting compliments on it.The pendant is 25 mm long and 6 mm wide. It comes with an 18 in. chain in the same gold choice as your pendant. The chain fastens with a lobster claw clasp.
My husband also purchased the extended warranty on my necklace. I just take it in every 6 months to be cleaned and inspected and they will fix it for free if anything breaks on it.
When my husband bought this necklace in 2006 he originally bought the 1/2 carat pendant. He took it to the store this past December to have it cleaned and inspected and when he returned home I found out he had upgraded it to the 1 carat. He totally suprised me as I had no idea he was planning this.
The Journey jewelry evidently increases in value because when he upgraded my necklace the store gave him more than he had originally paid for the 1/2 carat.
This necklace means so much to me that the only time I take it off is to have it cleaned. I think this is a wonderful way to celebrate a couples "Journey" through life together.

Seems I read somewhere that diamonds never lose value , only gain. At any rate it is a very pretty piece and meaningful too.

marriage is a journey, without an ending in any real sense. It is a voyage of love and discovery. This is the ONLY time I've heard this necklace described the way it is supposed to. Thank you for sharing a simply beautiful expression of love.

What a beautiful necklace and what a precious gift! I've been married almost 16 years now and we have just never had the luxury of such a nice piece of jewelry...heck the last car we bought cost $306, lol.
