I just bought these lamps a couple of weeks back and they are awesome. I was kind of skeptical at first since they are the type of lamps with the cover over top of the bulb that usually gets pretty hot, and so far I haven't had a problem. It's a plastic covering so it doesn't get as hot as the metal ones would. They are pretty stylish and seem to look good in any room. I bought a bunch as gifts and they look great. The best part is that they are pretty small and take up very little space. Their lighting is pretty good. The neck swivels in a 360 degree circle. And, unlike most household items you buy that take "years" to put together and multiple people to do so, this one took me all of 3-5 minutes to put together on my own. It's always good when you don't have to put so much time into putting an appliance together that it wasn't even worth the cost.
