My Passport Essential By Tesen878 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Alright this thing is really cool. It is a small, portable, harddrive. Mine is yellow although it comes in a variety of colors and a couple different sizes, mine is 160 gigs. Now about the way it is set up, it is a bit confusing, at least to me. When you install it, it opens up the program, My Passport. It is layed out pretty good, you have an option to syncronize your whole harddrive to it or you can simply add certain folders to it. The reason i dont like it is because you cant simply drag and drop. I like to drag and drop, it is an easy and simple way to move certain things to a certain place. When you choose to move something to the Passport, you check the folder and click on syncronize. Now depending on how many files you are trying to put on the Passport it may take a couple minutes. So say you miss a file, you go back to the window and you see that the folders you checked before are still checked, whatever you do, do not uncheck those otherwise the Passport will delete them from itself. So go on and check that one folder you missed, well now the Passport goes through everything that is checked, which is what i dont like because it wastes time.
