My Radar Detector Talks to me.
By tldann onMy radar detector talks to me, does yours?It not only beeps and buzzes but it talks to.Yes, that is right, it talks.It has a female voice which is predictably electronic sounding but it sure beats the incessant beeping of some of the older models I used.
She tells me to buckle my seat belt, she tells me to reduce my speed, she tells me of a moving train, she even tells me of an apporaching emergency vehicle.
And like any other radar detector she still beeps when a cop is near or when we get to close to an alarm system or any of the normal things.
She has an automatic mute system so when we are too close to a cop she will beep loudly three times and then she switches to a soft beep.
She has 360 degree range, she can tell of problems in front, in back and all around.
I enjoy my radar detector and would definitely buy the same model again in the future.
WOW this sounds cool, I like that it talks, I didn't know they made some that talked, thanks for sharing.
What makes this radar detector different is that it reminds you to buckle your seat belt and issues other warnings, rather than just when a 5-0 appears. All in all, for the price, this sounds like a very good choice.
Never knew they made radar detectors that TALK! Good info.
There was a show called Knigt Rider (also a new one) that had a voice like that (guys voice though). This sounds cool.

This is something I have been meaning to get. I did not know they did all those things. That just gives me another reason to purchase one. I will look for those features when I get one! Thanks for the info..
