My Rubbermaid Storage Shed Fell Apart By kateri27 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I moved into a house that already had a Rubbermaid Vertical Storage Shed behind the garage. I did not put it together.
I do like that it offers 52 cubic feet of storage space. We keep out wheelbarrow, gardening materials, and lawn mower in the garage. It is made of sturdy Rubbermade plastic and looked like it was properly constructed from the outside.
Here is the kicker though. We lived in our house for a whole week when out in the yard is one of the doors to the storage shed? It just blew off? A rubbermaid storage shed and it fell apart after a week?
We are now looking into replacing the storage shed with another shed. While I like Rubbermnaid products I don't think I trust there storage shed construction? Or their doors?

We have one small rubbermaid one that we haven't had any issues with. Although it was more difficult - as in - it required more physical strength - to put togethter than our new big shed - not Rubbermaid. I think they do better with smaller units. V:)
I was thinking about one of these to store BBQ items in. I guess I'll have to change my direction. Thanks.
My sister in law had one of these that blew apart in a wind storm. Thanks.
