Thisbook is a continuation of the series of the "Soul Screamers" by RachelVincent. It is left off from where My Soul To Take left off and Kayleeand Nash are at a concert featuring teen pop stars, Eden and AddisonPage. Everything is going fine until when they are going backstage tomeet the stars with backstage passes "bought" by Tod; Eden goes stiff onstage and then is totally lifeless. Kaylee instantly knows something iswrong because she doesn't feel that burning sensation to scream andwhen the thing that comes out off Eden is black sludge and nothing like asoul. She discovers the name of the sludge and it leads her andbeautiful Nash on a path to Addy Page, Tod's ex-girlfriend who hasherself in the same predicament as Eden. Tod coaxed them to help himsave her soul and in the process Kaylee may lose her soul also.

This book is part of a series that I instantly knew I would love atfirst glance. It has a strong plot for every book and enough kissing andtouching to keep me satisfied. They only make me angry because since Iread so quickly I can read this book in two hours. Ms. Rachel Vincentwas truly a woman after my heart when she created the eye-swirlingsweetness that is Nash. She lets us hear Kaylee thoughts so clearly andlet us know that even though Kaylee has an incredibly hot boyfriend andcan get any hot male bean sidhe she wants with her wailing, she stillhas insecurities like everyone else. On the cover it says that "Twilightfans will love it." I don't know how to respond to this claim, but Idon't see any similarities. Vampires and star-crossed lovers arecompletely absent from this book. Either way, I loved this book and Ilove this series almostas much as Twilight. I am looking forward to the next book, My Soul toKeep which is coming out in June 2010! Pick this book up so you will becaught up when Ms. Vincent releases that masterpiece!
