My boyfriend purchased this as a birthday gift for me just over a year ago and I don't think I have left it home since. Its small size and 1gb capacity make it perfect for my hour and a half commute to work and it easily has enough battery life to get me through a seven hour shift of making pizzas. The best part though is the thing is virtually indestructable. It has survived falling in pizza sauce, being dropped numerous times and most shockingly an accidental trip through the washer and the dryer(Don't try this at home, kids.)The FM radio function works well and is a really nice supplement to just having the limited storage.

The earbuds that came with the player were functional but not great. I replaced them with some over the ear ones just because they stayed on better when I had to be active at work.

This is possibly the best gift I ever received.
