My Surge Protectors Died like Heroes

The Interex and Belkin Surge Master I bought ten years ago were tested to their maximum capacities. I had a serious electricity problem in my new home, in simple words the electricity is all messed up. We contacted an electrician and when he was testing the water heater wires the unexpected happened.
An extreme electricity surge happened and the sound was terrible. Then lighting behind our electronic equipment, TV, DVD player, CD player, and the computer followed by a burn smell.
Wow! That was extremely scary. The electricity work in our home is so bad they have to rewire almost the entire home. Well but what happened to our electronics? nothing happened, both surge protectors died in the incident but they saved all our most important equipment.
The Belkin Surge Master suffered more damage, but worked great. This is way I called both my electricity surge heroes. I strongly recommend you to use this type of protection in with your most valuable equipment; they will save you a lot of money.
Cool Story! I mean, you know, I'm sorry for the damage and elec probs. But, Man! Cool Story! I've heard them turn out different. I'll be looking at Belkin. Thanks!
Great product for an outstanding price FREE. It's important to protect our electronics. The home we purchased had some electrical "goof ups" too, but fortunately, my husband is an electrician.
