Reviewing: Celestamine Anti Histamine

When I was younger, my allergic rhinitis was at its worse. Every single day that I wake up, I would sneeze. A lot of times, the sneezing would go away mid-morning. But many times, this would continue that my immunity would fluctuate and I would catch a cold or flu.

During these times, I would immediately pop a tablet of Celestamine to stop the sneezing. In less than 30 minutes, the irritation on my nose that causes the sneezing would stop.

But the downside is, its side effects. I get drowsy that I would need to take a nap. Then when I wake up, my allergies are gone and then I am refreshed.

However, more recently, I discovered that one of the causes of my PCOS is my allergy medication. So I guess if I can just stand it, I should really not take allergy medications because there are ill effects for the long-term.

So glad you found the problem and feel much better.

I had allergic rhinitis too. This has to be treated differently from other kinds of allergies because if it persists for long time, it may cause another nasal problem due to frequent irritation. Aside from avoiding causes of allergy like dust, smoke, you should consult the ENT specialist for better medication and is suitable to you. The doctor prescribed a nasal spray to me, instead of oral medication, in case of allergy attack.

I think I'm in desperate need of this right now. My allergies just suddenly kicked in this month after a great summer

I have been suffering more as I get older. I've never tried this before and normally use over the counter stuff. Claritin doesn't really work, Alavert probably works the best for me. Mine get so much worse at night when I lay down too. I can't stand it.

Me too, doctors have prescribed antibiotics for my allergic rhinitis. Hmm but with drowsiness as a side effect, I think I'll pass on this one.
