A friend of mine who came home from Canada brought me this Sharp CD player as a gift. It was in 1998. It is now 2010 and my CD player works fine. Actually, it is not only a CD player but a cassette player and AM/FM radio as well.

For the radion, it doesn't have a dial but it has a digital tuner. Fine, I no longer listen to the radio. As for the cassette player, I have not used it for years. But for the CD player, I use it everyday. As in. And now that I have my baby, I had been using it while I was still pregnant and now that my baby is 10 months old. We use it everyday for almost 24 hours!

It is already 12 years old and it already has kinks. Like sometimes, it makes the CD skip but when played on our laptop players, the disc is fine. I believe that the beat on the speaker is making the player skip. But it is fine.

For what it was worth when my friend bought it, this is a really good buy. I am convinced that Sharp produces really good quality electronic products. Proof of this is my trusty CD player.
