My Twinn Doll

My daughter got a My Twinn doll as a Christmas gift last year.As you can see from the pictures, it looks just like her all the way down to the same chin.It is a great quality doll, with hair that is easier to brush than other (as in cheaper) dolls.But because of the price, this is also a doll that needs a lot of love and care.My daughter tends to treat this like any of her other dolls.I think a My Twinn doll is really only for children who take great care of their toys (unlike my daughter) or who are collectors.One great thing about this doll though is if the hair does get ruined, you can send it for a doll makeover.If an arm or leg breaks, you can send it to the doll hospital.But again, those can be costly.My daughters favorite thing about her My Twinn doll is the matching outfits you can buy.The doll clothes range from $10 to $28 while the kid clothes goes up to $79 for a holiday dress.I think the My Twinn doll is a great concept, but it's not very cost effective for most parents.
