Nabisco's Chips Ahoy 100 Calorie Granola Bars By Janna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Not too long ago I was 50 pounds overweight. When I decided that I had enough and started my diet I soon realized that one can not live on carrots alone. So I sought out foods that I had liked in the past but with less calories. I stumbled upon Nabisco's popular line of 100 calorie snack packs. I loved their Oreo and Chips Ahoy cookies. You can imagine my excitement when I came across the Nabisco 100 Calorie Chips Ahoy Granola Bar. The price of the granola bar is the same as for the cookies. Unfortunately the granola bars lack in one important area. They taste awful. The chocolate is bland and the granola bar falls apart quite easily. These granola bars are smaller than the traditional full fat granola bars. So you are not only getting a terrible tasting granola bar but you are also getting less bang for your buck. If you're on a diet and can't live with out your chocolate chip granola bar then your better treating yourself to the full fat kind every once in a while.
