Nads No-Heat Natural Hair Removal Gel
By RachelReviews onI tried Nads No-Heat Natural Hair Removal Gel on my upper lip area today. There were some parts of the product that I found to be impressive while others were disappointing.
The gel came in a generous 6 oz tub. One trait I liked about the gel was that it washes off with water. I found that the gel felt unlike any other gels I have ever felt. I thought it felt more like the stickiest, thickest honey, much more like a wax. The problem with wax is that when wax gets on the skin, it is hard to remove. Oftentimes, you need to use baby oil to remove wax. The great thing about Nads No-Heat Natural Hair Removal Gel is that if any gel remains on your skin after the removal process, you just rinse with water.
The efficacy of the gel definitely leaves something to be desired. Just like with a wax, the user has to spread the gel on with a small spatula, then smooth and press the strip, and then rip off. After this, unfortunately for me, not all of the hair was removed. I had to use a tweezer after!
I think that Nads may work better on hair that is much longer, like leg hair that has a chance to grow in.
A final disappointment was the scent. On the front of the jar, there is a mention of kiwi and mint. I immediately thought, "Ooh, kiwi and mint! I would love to smell that." Upon opening the jar and inhaling, I realized it had no smell, and the inclusion of the kiwi and mint are for skin soothing and cooling benefits.

Thanks, Robyn! I know, right? I wished it worked better too.
I might have to check it out on the legs, th3e soothing of hte mint and kiwi, sounds good. I am in need of something for the face.
