Nailene Ultra Quick Nail Glue Sticks It To Ya... By JPnMO on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Broken fingernails are a major frustration to anyone who takes pride in how their hands look. My nails go in cycles, growing extremely fast at times, then slow at others. When my nails are long or getting there, it never fails that I'll break one or tear it along the edge. When all the others are long, cutting one off is the last thing I want to do. So, I get out the Ultra Quick and fix it! It comes in a tiny bottle, .10 oz, which is enough to last for months. I keep one in my desk and one in my purse. When I find a nail that's breaking, I simply apply a thin layer of glue and hold it in place for a few seconds. Problem solved! I've literally broken off an entire nail and glued it back on repeatedly until the nail had time to grow back out on its own. I don't use fake nails and never have after a salon owner (who had a nail tech working for her) warned me against it. She said my nails looked healthy and that artificial nails can cause big problems. She didn't have to convince me, as I didn't want to spend the extra money anyway.

The only negative about this is that I have to repeat the application every day or two, but I blame that more on me than on the product. I wash my hands many times a day, which I am sure affects the durability of the glue.
