Nails for Special Occasions
By Tink onI have always dreamed of having long pretty airbrushed nails.I saw this Crystal Clear Nail Kit at Krogers when I was doing my grocery shopping.I didn't know what length was best for me since I type a lot on the computer.I thought maybe the medium length would be okay.I was hoping that it would be easy to adjust them with a nail file if they were too long after I applied them.
First of all you will get a set of 24 Crystal nails which come in 12 sizes. You need to test each of your fingers for the proper fit of a nail.Once you find 10 nails, set them aside and then put the extra nails away. You might need them should you have a nail come off. Some of the nails are not a perfect fit and you will need to file down the edges to fit your natural nail shape.Make sure your nail has a clean surface.Remove all traces of nail polish.Apply a small amount of glue on the bottom of the Crystal Nail and then apply a little more glue to your natural nail.Press the Crystal Nail on to your natural nail and hold for a minute or two. Then move on to the next finger and repeat.
I found that applying these artificial nails was tricky at first.I also feel that they are messy to apply.I ended up with glue on my fingers and had to struggle to remove that glue. One tip I will give you is if that happens to you, buy some 100% Pure Acetone Remover to take off the excess glue.
These nails can be left on for up to 7 days.Do not leave them on longer than the recommended time. They are pretty and an inexpensive way to dress upyour nails for a ~special occasion~ !

These would be perfect for someone like me. Since I work on my computer all the time, I don't have time for long nails but would like them for the holidays and special events. This is a good alternative.
I have used these as well and had great luc with them for a quick mani ;~)
