Nair Hair Removal By heatherwells on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I bought this product because like most people I was tired of shaving. I really felt that I had wasted my money. It didn't work at all, not even one hair was removed. The application although easy, had a very foul smell. It almost smelled like rotten boiled eggs. I did exactly what the package had said in regards of the application process to no avail. I have never bought this product again and I never plan to buy this product again. I most definatly would never recommend it. I even tried using the other Nair products, including wax. The wax just hurt and I couldn't tolerate doing both my legs doing that. So I decided that it was a poor product and I was better off with my razor and shaving cream. Oh well, better luck next time.

yuck I have never like Nair either! LOL I tell you what I like these days is the Schick Intuition razor. It's a twin bladed razor and the blades are surrounded by a solid layer of like dry soap. Hard to explain but if you go over to schickintuition.com they show a picture. WHat I like about this system is that I don't have to use shaving cream. When I take a shower and my legs are wet I use this twin blade system with out shaving cream and it has left no irritation. They cartridges for it are pricey but its convenient.
I tried this stuff years ago when it first came out and not only did I hate the smell, yes rotten eggs, but it also did not work well for me. Sounds like it has not changed, thanks for the info.
