Nair Waxing Kits By umm86 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I guess like most woman I was tired of ALWAYS having to shave. I get my eyebrows waxed and the results are somewhat long lasting. So I decided to get Nairs waxing kit. Only to find out the kit that I got had been tampered with. I called the company and explained what the problem was. Soon after in my mail was a whole lot of coupons for various products and 2 free nair products. I was happy so I had got the same kit again. It seemed simple. Apply the wax put the strip on and pull . But it was not at all. The wax did not rub on my legs like it was suppose to. It actually was just a pian. But I kept working with it. Only to find out that when i would apply the stripes and pull it off. It did not pull any hair off. Only left my legs bruised. I was clearly pulling hard enought to get a bruise but no hair. So i tried again letting my leg hair get a little longer thinking that was the problem. Still did not work. I ended up throwing this away. Remembering that I had another coupon for another kit. I went and this time round bought the lotion with the bladeless razor. That did work. But my legs are to sensitive that I was left with rash like scratches all up my legs that burned. I think the products do work. Just not right for everyone. So if you bruise easily or sensitve I would skip these products and stick to shaving. Or even if you can handle the burning the results are good. Happy hair removing .

I have not had great success with Nair products either. I think they are cheap products. i personally use Sally hansen, maybe you could give it a try. Thanks!
This sounds like pretty much a disaster. I tried Nair years ago, but it only did a spotty job and then I had to shave anyway. Now I just go European!
I have not had good luck with this brand either.
this brand sounds terrible...i'm glad i don't have to worry about this haha
I'm sorry you had such bad experiences but thank you for sharing! I'll stay away from these products so that I don't make the same mistake! I'll stick to a razor for my legs and salon waxing for my brows!
If I were you, I don't think I'd have given it a score of '3"! Sounds terrible!
Maybe it is time to just wear long pants? lol! I can feel your pain and share in your experiences of having to just stick with a regular razor... and even then the answer is not so simple!
Wow. I guess I'll stick with a razor. I do have sensitive skin and thank you for the warning!
You can't say you did not try. Wow not one but several bad experiences with the same products, sorry to hear that. I don't have the guts to do waxing at home to myself. You have to pull at the right speed and angle for it to work and when it's hurting me at the time, I find it impossible so I leave it to the professionals.
Nair products just stink in general I think. I have never bought a Nair product that lived up to what they said it would do.
