Nalgene 32 Oz. Water Bottle By allisonrachael on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I've had this Nalgene for years -- I believe I originally purchased it in 2003, for a trekking trip in the Himalayas -- and it's been more than a water bottle for me. It's practically an accessory. I never leave home without it! It's very durable (I've accidentally dropped it a thousand times, and you can hardly see a scratch on it, I guess this is thanks to the Lexan plastic!), and the screw-top lid doesn't leak as long as you keep it closed pretty tightly. You can put it in the freezer without fear of cracking. Nalgene has added a little measuring gauge on the side showing you both milliliters and ounces, so you can measure specific quantities of things if you are mixing or using iodine tablets that require a specific quantity of water. These bottles can absolutely last a lifetime, and they are priced so cheap! Highly recommended.
