Natural Handcrafted Soap By katwalker on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

There are lots of natural, handcrafted soapmakers on the internet. If you soap with pretty colors and swirls, it's out there. If you want soap with great fragrances, it's out there. While Chagrin Valley's soaps smell good and look okay, these are not their strong points. However, if you want soap that treats your skin, Chagrin Valley soaps are for you.

As evident by the ingredients listed for each soap, each soap is different. The ingredients are different for each one and are put in for a specific purpose, such as moisturizing, healing properties, exfoliation, refining pores, etc. Although all of the soaps are moisturizing, some are extra emoillient. Furthermore, this company offers lots of varieties of soap that are different from those offered by the typical natural soapmaker. In some ways, the biggest complaint I have is that I want to try all the varities (sample sizes are available for a couple of bucks). I do wish they offered a soap using emu oil, but I believe the company is devoted to using no animal products in their soaps (except possibly goats' milk). Definately worth checking out - it's so much better than bar soap you buy in a store!
