Nature Made Fish Oil Softgels 100 Ct. By Jeff Reaves on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This past April, I went to my primary doctor for my annual physical. When the results came back from my labwork, my good cholesterol (HDL) was a little low. My doctor suggested eatting more fish and taking a fish oil supplement.
I take multi-vitamins on a regular basis but have never been one to take supplements. When I went shopping for fish oil, I purchased the Nature Made brand because this is the brand I have heard of the most when it comes to supplements. The bottle stated that the product may help reduce the risk of coronary heart disease and helps maintain cholesterol levels.
One of the things I like about this product is that there is no bad after taste which I have heard some fish oil caps have. My one complaint is how large the gel caps are. I would suggest taking a big sip of water with the gel cap.
I just had more lab work done in August. Although, I don't know the exact numbers yet, when I talked to my physicians assistant, she stated that my doctor was very pleased with the results. I am assuming this product had something to do with it.
Nature Made Omega-3 Fish Oil 1200 mg 100 count Purchased at: Wal-Mart Price: $8.99

I use these type too for anti-inflammatory purposes. It has really helped me. :-)
I am glad your results came back better :)
I think we all should incorporate some type of omega-3's in our diet-good for you with your good test results!
My timing was perfect for seeing this as I just got test results back today and my doctor recommended fish oil. Thanks for sharing your opinion of it.
I have heard that fish oil can help many other parts of the body as well; such as the joints. Did you have any other benefits from these capsules?
I take these, too. They are huge!
I take omega-3 as well. Burping doesn't have good taste...lol...but it's what the outcome in on our bodies that count.
