Hi all,here I am once again with another book review. I have made no secret that my son Alex and I LOVE to read. Last week this author came to visit Alex's school to promote writing and the importance of reading.What a great idea. The kids were able to purchase the books and get an autograph.Alex was glued to his seat listening to his stories of how he came to be an award winning childrens author. This book has been awarded the YABBA (Young Australians Best Book Award).Christopher Milne started out as an actor on a daytime soapy, then began to write for this same soapy as well as the show "Prisoner". In the mean time he had been blessed with the birth of two sons,which his stories are somewhat based on. He loved reading them the obligatory bed time story,but soon found himself running out of books. In his frustration he decided to make up stories about "good" kids doing "good things". Well his boys found these stories boring so he decided to make up stories about "naughty" kids doing disgusting rotten pooey things...(remember kids find poo funny),his boys would beg for more. This prompted him to write his stories down. This book is a complete collection of all 13 of these books. Cheeky stories, cheeky kids great stuff. Kids are very clever so an intriguing story fits like a glove. Happy reading
