NBA Jam Tournament Edition is one of the best games ever for the Sega Genesis. It combined the big names of NBa superstars with crazy antics that would make the Harlem Globetrotters look lame. NBA Jam Tournament edition isn't a simulation game. Its an arcade game. Its like basketball with a hint of Mortal Kombat.

The game could let you do dunks that defy the laws of physics. You could also shove your opponents and not get called for fouls. Aside from that you could also enjoy easter eggs such as playing as Bill Clinton and Al gore. You could also enter codes to get unlimited turbo and get big character heads.

Once the game is completed, you could get additional players and get to use the All-Star team. I personally use the rosters of the Seattle Supersonics with Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton and Detlef Schrempf because of their versatility, Gary Payton has good defense and ball handling skills, Shawn Kemp could rebound and score inside. Detlef Shrempf could light it up outside. I also use the New York Knicks for their sheer power. Patrick Ewing and charles Oakley are two of the biggest dogs in the yard and John Starks is a marksman.

This is one of my favorite games growing up. Aside from liking basketball, I also liked the crazy fun that this game brings.It has plenty of replay value with all the teams and players it has.
