Need More Memory For Your Cell Phone?

My husband and I just got new Blackberry phones and one of the features is video and pictures. The only problem with this is that in order to use the video portion or store more than twelve pictures on the phone is that we had to buy a seperate memory card.

For my husband's birthday, I bought him 1GB memory card made by PNY. I have never heard of this brand before, but I found that after some comparisions of other brands, this was a very inexpensive way to go. It was also reccomended by the cashier at Fred Meyers. So far, we have had great results from this product and are very happy with the storage.

The memory card came with a smaller memory card for the phone as well as a full size memory card so that he can transfer any pictures or videos he has taken from the phone onto the computer. He can also use it for music or games.

Storage and File Size:

Camera: 1.3 Megapixel- File Size is 0.5MB which comes out to about 1892 pictures

Songs: File Size- 3.5MB which is about 270 songs

Video: File Size 409.6MB which is about 2.5 hours of video.

I would reccomend this to anyone who is just getting started with a memory card. I didn't even know you had to have one of these but I am happy that I found out and invested in one.
