NEIL DIAMOND THE JAZZ SINGER
By JOEY onThis is a musical cd that I purchased because I loved the movie when I went to see it. I am first of all a huge Neil Diamond fan before anything else. The job Neil Diamond did on the songs in the movie and on this cd was incredible.
The songs America, Love On The Rocks, Hello Again and many others are extremely well done. The cd cost only about ten dollars but the songs and the overall effort that went into producing this whole production make the investment well beyond the price.
I would also encourage anyone who has not yet seen the movie to get a copy of it. I sometimes will take the cd and listen to it in the car to and from work. Very invigorating songs.
I own many Neil Diamond cd's as well as concerts for the dvd player. I did see him in concert when he came to the Hartford civic center a few years ago. I have never been disappointed with his music.

Joe, I was at a BBQ with Neil at the next table. At 14 I was to scared to talk to him. I went to summer camp with his son Jesse and we were friends. He was very down to earth about his dad.
That is really neat. I saw Neil when he gave a concert at the Hartford civic center quite a few years ago. The man is an absolute legend. Good stuff. The only one i like as much as Neil would be John Denver. Thanks for the sharing of that experience. It must have been neat to meet his son. I cannot even imagine what that was like. By the way, I kinda get a kick out of you. I have a ham radio buddy who is similar to you. Into both music and radio. Myself, I have been a ham since the summer of 1990. I am not a musician like my friend is but I love music. Take care. Joe
By the way, Did his son Jesse sing at all? If so does he have a good voice like his dad? joe
