Nerf N Strike Maverick By adadsview on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This Nerf blaster has a 6 dart barrel that flips out for easy loading. For parents who monitor their child's gun play, it does resemble a revolver in this way. The darts are the mini ones(about 3 inches) and are made of foam. There is a rubber suction at one end. When you shoot a smooth surface it will stick to it. You do have to pump it between each blast.

I think this is a lot of fun for boys. They can run around and get each other but the darts don't hurt. We have a rule that they can't aim for the face, though. The boys also love drawing a bullseye on the art board and aiming at that.

Sometimes the barrel doesn't fully turn after a shot and that can be annoying. It is not rapid firing so that keeps the kids in check. I think this is a fun toy for $10.
