Nestle Abuelita Mexican Chocolate
By Kakoa onDo you like hot chocolate? If you do, you've never really had hot chocolate until you have tried Mexican hot chocolate. Nestle's Abuelita hot chocolate is delicious! I have been drinking it since I was a very young girl.
With this type of hot chocolate, you can make just one cup or a whole pot to share with others (or drink for yourself later). It comes in octagon shaped disks in a paper wrapper. In each box, you get 19oz of the chocolate (4 or 5 separate wrapped disks). The best flavor comes from using one slice per cup. If you are making just one cup at a time, one box will last you quite a long time.
It's quite easy to make this hot chocolate. I usually just put one slice of chocolate into a small pot and add milk until the slice is completely covered with milk. You can use water, but milk is much smoother. Heat the milk and keep stirring until most of the chocolate has melted and mixed in. You can eat the little pieces of chocolate that did not dissolve for an added bonus! Add a little whipped cream on the top for a great tasting finish.
Nestle's Abuelita hot chocolate has a smooth chocolate flavor with a hint of cinnamon taste. Not only can you use it for making hot chocolate, but you can use this chocolate for general cooking purposes. It adds a great twist of flavor to my chocolate cakes and cookies!

You are giving away a secret recipe for Mexican Hot Chocolate LOL! I love this product too. We even use it in our restaurant. I like this flavor over other hot chocolate packages.
Mmm, this sounds really good! I have never seen this in any store in my area, but I will have to look around on-line to find it.
i love hot chocolate but I never had mexican hot chocolate! I've seen and got tempted by it at coffee shops, but had no idea you can buy them and make it at home! th packaging design makes me laugh for some reason!
I haven't seen this but I do like the cinnamon with chocolate that is what makes it Mexican, I think.
Sounds so good!
