Netgear Wgt624 Router Review By dtp882 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Netgear WGT624 v6 and v9 wireless 802.11 b/g routers, work really well for home use. We bought it at Bestbuy on Sale for 42.97 (reg. sale was 49.99), and we got it home and it worked, the setup was very easy, and all customizable options were easily layed out, and changeable. You may notice how I listed v6 and the v9 routers, this is because about a year and 4 monthes after we bought the v6, the router's firmware was stuck in an infinite reset, and was stuck in its factory setting, and was not working. I'm sure that someone proficient in computers could fix it, it would not be easy for the average home user. We bought the same router this time v9, and it has been working fine for 9 monthes.

The speed is ok for internet, for all 4 Devices we use wireless on (2 PC's, Laptop and a Wii) and the monitored speed is always within 36 Mbps.
