Netgear Wireless Usb Adapter By rcpae on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Netgear MA111 Wireless USB Adapter is perfect for anyone setting up a home wireless network. It is actually as simple as inserting the adapter into the usb port and intalling the software. (And of course you need to have a wireless signal available) After that you're rolling! This adapter does require you to install the driver, even with Windows XP. Once you've intalled the driver, you don't have to install it again. This is great for laptops, but it also nice for desktops. If you own a computer with a warranty, and it doesn't have a wireless ethernet card, you can't install one. Opening the case and installing a wireless ethernet card would void your warranty. The Netgear MA111 is the answer. The only drawback to everyday use is this isn't the most durable piece of equipment. If you have a front side USB port and leave this plugged in, it could get damaged. If you're able to keep it out of the way or unplug it when you're done, then there will be no problems.

It sounds like another good solution oriented product to meet home office needs. Just being able to unplug it when done, makes it much wiser an investment than risking voiding a warranty so you can network.
