Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash By Haplon on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Since I started going to the gym, I've started to have a light acne on my back and shoulders. To counter this annoyance, I tried this Neutrogena Body Wash because I had had great luck with some of their other acne-treating products. This one, however, let me down. The product itself is a soapy-gel that can be applied in the shower all over your body and is supposed to fight break-outs. Though after trying this for a few months, I noticed no decrease at all in the patterns of acne I was getting. One of my roommates tried it as well and also didn't get any results, so I am confident to say this product wasn't effective for me. This is somewhat suprising to me since the ingredient, salicylic acid (2%), actually works quite well in the Neutrogena face cleanser. On the plus side, the soap itself has a good smell to it and the price is decent. Other than that, I cannot recommend this product for use against acne; try something else.
