I was excited to try Neutrogena's Mineral Sheers Foundation as an affordable alternative to other mineral foundation. The price is right, but the make-up, if you can get it out of the container, does not apply as smoothly as Bare Minerals does, for example. I would have finished using the foundation if only I could get it out of the applicator and onto my face with ease, but it is difficult to get even coverage with this applicator. Very little powder came out of my brush at all, despite the gentle tapping that the directions recommend. The brush is a bit coarse on my face, as well, and I actually bruised my hand from tapping on the applicator to release the powder. I hate to be wastleful, but I had to through it away. Okay product, problematic applicator. This is the first Neutrogena product I have ever had a problem with.
