New Balance 681 Crosstrainers
By Steven Rupp onI have severe scoliosis, and therefore walk with an abnormal stride. This results in me being really hard on shoes. They wear unevenly, and very quickly. Add this to the fact that my disability requires me to need an extremely stable, yet still comfortable shoe, and you can see why it has been hard for me to find a decent pair, and why I have gone through so many.
Fortunately for my wallet, I have found the perfect shoe for me - the New Balance 681 Crosstrainer. It has a very sturdy, thick sole/heel, and it is VERY comfortable because it has their Absorz cushioning. It is a very stable, well-performing shoe. It would be perfect for any athletic activity. It is comfortable and lightweight enough for running, while still being stable enough for the quick stops and turns of tennis.
Also, this shoe wears/lasts far longer than any other brand I have ever tried. It has taken my own unique type of use and abuse, and is still like new. It's amazing. ANY other shoe would have died on me by now. This is the only brand/style of shoe I will buy from now on.
The New Balance 681 Crosstrainers can be found at most stores all around the country. It comes in extra wide widths also, so they will fit anybody. I would give these shoes my highest recommendation to everybody!

Glad you found these at a great price. My dad always had a problem finding good shoes that fit and would pay a fortune for them. Going to recommend these to him. Thanks
I'm a Nike gal. Not that I don't TRY on other shoes each and every time I shop for new shoes, they just don't seem to fit as good. I've heard wonderful things about New Balance they just don't seem to work for me though. Glad to hear that they work so well for you though :0)
