New Skin Antiseptic Liquid Bandage By tinkerbell on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
If you are subject to paper cuts or hangnails, this product is for you. New-Skin Liquid Bandage has saved my family much anguish.
New-Skin is a clear syrupy type antiseptic liquid bandage. When suffering from the pain of an open cut or a hangnail, you simply brush on New Skin with the applicator, which is built into the cap. Wait for the first coat to dry. I usually apply a second coat.
Be prepared, though, as New-Skin stings like crazy when you first apply it. So much so, that I would not use this on kids. Just tough it out until the stinging stops and you will be grateful.
It does smell horrible! If you apply this before leaving the house, people WILL smell it and wonder if someone just sprayed insecticide. Just look around and pretend you have no idea what they are talking about, lol. It's pretty bad smelling, but it does the job.
The bottle I have is made of glass, so while it is small enough to carry around, it is breakable. Someone dropped our bottle and the cap cracked, which then caused the applicator brush to dry up. But we dare not toss it in the trash until someone remembers to buy a new bottle.
One bottle of New-Skin goes a long way. It is well worth the money. I only wish it didn't smell so bad. Thanks!
