New York New York Hotel And Casino Las Vegas, Nv By Hollie Halverson on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is in a good location on the Strip. In walking distance to many other casinos. While Vegas is mostly a noisy place, this hotel and casino is super loud almost sensory overload to me.

Lots of bars and pub style places in here for those that love to party including a Coyote Ugly. Many places to eat even those who are picky will like something here. Also a Krispy Kreme and the usual Starbucks.

There is a large arcade and a cool roller coaster, geared more to teens.

Rooms are fine but no great shakes. Upgrade to a suite if offered much more room or ask for a corner room - excellent space in those. I have included some views outside the window of a room we stayed in. the roller coaster was right outside. Note to those that don't sleep well: ask to be away from the coaster - screaming ALL night.

There is a small business center here. Only one pool disappointing I thought, although there are some hot tubs.

Join the slot club they will mail FREE offers but not as many as other hotels. I thought they were kinda stingy with their reward points as compared with other hotels in Vegas.

I would recommend staying here if you can get a good rate or free. Lots of cool theming here.
