Nexcare Pooh And Friends Bandages Sooth The Hurt By uaezarb on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

If you have a child or grandson, like I do that loves to play outside, you are sure to hear those familiar words, "I need a band-aid" quite often. So that's why I always like to keep bandages on hand in case my grandson gets a boo boo that just must have a band-aid to make it all better.

I usually buy Band-aid brand, but the last time I ran out of bandages, I had a coupon, so I bought the Nexcare bandages at Rite-Aid with my friends Tigger & Pooh. Each bandage has a different Pooh character imprinted on the front. The colorful, fun characters always cheer him up right away, as long as it is only a tiny wound.

These bandages have a unique long triangular shape that makes it wider in the middle to allow a wider adhesive area in the middle to seal out dirt & germs. That's a great feature, especially for kids that always seem to be getting dirty.

The bandage is just the right size for most boo boo's and is very flexible, soft and breathable. These are also latex free for those that are allergic to latex.

I like these as well as the more famous Band-Aid brand and they are cheaper.
