Nexium- Miracle Purple Pill!

To make a long story short, I was diagnosed with GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) this past week. Went to the hospital because I didn't know what was going on, and the doctor prescribed Nexium. After the first time upon taking it, I noticed a major difference. I had less pain and could eat without feeling like my chest/stomach was gonna blow up (I know, a little grotesque). While the Purple Pill did it's work, I wasn't estatic about the side effects. I had a lot of the side effects and when I called the doctor about them, he said that it will take atleast a couple of days for my body to get used to the medication.

The side effects I can deal with, because the results are much better than I had expected!
