NFL Licensed Garden Gnome

For my ex- husbands birthday, I wanted to get him something that would make him smile. I looked and looked and when I saw this, I knew it was perfect for him. His favorite football team is the Steelers and we have spent hundreds of dollars and many hours working around the yard of his house doing landscaping, so it fit in with things we have done and he loves.

The Steelers Garden Gnome is made from cold cast ceramic and is licensed by the NFL. He stands 11 inches tall, is wearing the Steelers colors and is holding a football. In the middle of his pointed hat is the Steelers logo and it is stamped on the bottom wit the NFL seal. In addition to the Steelers, it is also available for 7 other NFL teams.

I decided to make this a 2 gifts in one gift and came up with the idea to present it to him as the decoration on his birthday cake (see pictures). I designed a cake to look like he was standing in the dirt, with a rock border around it and then grass all over so it looked like he was in the garden. When my ex came over, we presented it to him and his face lit up. He loved it and thought it was a unique gift that he had never seen.

Update On Feb 02, 2009: The Steelers Gnome was very happy watching the Super Bowl and very excited the Steelers one. Now he's going to DisneyLand!
