I love trying new beauty products and I really like OPI nail polishes. When I heard about this product I knew I had to try it.

Basically, this is a "pen" filled with polish that has a brush on the end. You prime the pen by pressing the end like you are working a retractable ballpoint. This action causes the polish to move down the tube and onto the brush. Then you can polish away.

The product is easy to use, but I had problems getting the right amount of polish out. I might have enough for the first nail, but when I moved onto the second, what looked like enough was really not. So, I had to pump out a bit more for each nail. When I got to the end of my polishing session, there was some polish left in the brush, so I felt like I was wasting product. Then, after a use or two,I noticed that the brush was not staying smooth like most polish brushes. I think this was mainly caused by putting the cover back on the brush.

Another problem I had was actually finding this product! It was supposed to be available at Target, but the one closest to me either never carried it or it was always sold out. I finally found it when I was visiting my mom back home. And when I did find them, the color selections were very limited. I did find a color I really liked (Date Night - a nice dark pinky red).

Would I buy this product again? Probably not unless there was an awesome color I could not find in the regular OPI or Nicole line. I do like that it's portable for touchups, but since I only paint my toenails, it is not necessary most of the time.

Wow...I thought this was a great idea until I read what you said about wasting the product....not a good design then! I think it might be best used for a quick touch up - but probably not what they had in mind when they designed this container.
