This is the first book I have ever read by Chris Marie Green. I LOVED it and can not wait to get the next book in the series. I recieved this book from one of my online book trading groups (swaptree.com). I went to buy the 2nd book in the series at Barnes & Noble and all they carry is the large trade paperback for $14.99, which I thought was entirely too much. They only offered the larger books for all the books in this series so I would recommend shopping around for the smaller book. This book is located in the sci-fi/fantasy section. It is not really a romance (although it has a smidgen) but really is a paranormal book. I would definately recommend this book if you like that sort of thing.

Storyline: Stuntwoman Dawn Madison's father vanished while he was investigating the bizarre sighting of a supposedly long-dead child star. Joining her father's odd P.I. colleagues for the search, Dawn discovers an erotic and bloody underground society made up of creatures she thought existed only on the screen-and some of them are dangerously attractive.

Dawn is smart mouthy and sarcastic and a great change from the usual dependant damsel in distress.
