Reviewing: The Heroin Diaries Non Fiction

Being a child growing up in the early 1980's I was a huge fan of Motley Crue, my sister and I knew every lyric by heart and when they did manage to have a video tame enough for MTV to show we would run to watch it. When they broke up a few years back we were heartbroken.

My sister purchased his book The Heroin Diaries as soon as it came out, as soon as she was done I read it.

This book tells first hand what went on behind the scenes. From the bandmates, to managers and family. Nikkie narrates the story and Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, Vince Neil, Vanity, Doc McGhee and more tell their sides of what happened.

Nikki and Sikki ( his demeted, tortured alter ego) allow you to see how Heroin, Cocaine and alcohol drug him to the depts of Hell and back several times and he holds nothing back.

This book is not meant for everyone, it discusses in dept the effects of drugs and what it does to your body and mind. It paints a very detailed and grotesqe picture, so reader beware. You have to be a hardcore fan to sit through this, the honesty is intense and dark.
