Reviewing: Nikon Coolpix 4600
Purchased at: Gift     Price: $130.00 USD

I might be realitively young, but I'm like an old lady when it comes to electronics. Most of them scare me.If I hadn't recieved my Nikon Coolpix 4600 as a Christmas gift, I'd probably still be using regular film-based disposable cameras.

My mom (who gave me the gift) knows about my technoligical phobia, and selected this camera because she was told it was very user-friendly.

Whoever told her that was right. The camera has a setting where it automatically adjusts everything and all you have to do is snap the picture.I leave it on that setting. There are lots of other things you can do and lots of features to play around with, but I don't go there.

Viewing pictures on the camera is easy.Just one button to press and they are right there. If you want to delete them all you have to do is press another button with a little garbage can on it.

So, yes, even I can figure out this camera, and I'm happy to have it.The only thing that I don't like is that the batteries die really fast.I use re-chargeable batteries in mine to try to save a little money.

Bonus: this camera is pretty small and fits nice in little handbags.
