N Ikon Coolpix 5200 By Patrick on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This is my first and only digital camera, and so far I have really liked, and have no real complaints about it. The only reason I did not rate it higher is because of the newer cameras that have come out that are smaller, have larger screens, and are somewhat easier to use. In and of itself, this has been a wonderful camera. It is a 5.1 megapiwel camera, with 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. It does not have a lot of memory, but is easily expandable with a memory card. I happened to catch a good deal, and got a rebate on the camera that paid for the card. The basic settings are very easy to use, even for a photography illiterate person such as myself. There is an auto setting and a menu with other default settings that have pictures with them to show what light settings they work best at, fool proof. I have had this camera for around a year or so, and that is my scope of knowledge concerning settings and adjustability, which is probably my fault as I have not looked into it any farther. As a simple point and shoot, I can highly recommend this camera.
